About Us
The City of Ceres Public Works Department includes the Facilities, Fleet, Landscape (Parks), Water, Wastewater, Streets, Recreation, and Solid Waste Divisions. Water Conservation and Storm Water programs are also facilitated under Public Works. The department employees 60 staff who implement, deliver, operate, and maintain the City's infrastructure systems and facilities.

The Landscape Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance of parks, grounds, right of ways, and City trees.

Street Division
The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for all traffic signs, traffic signals, lane striping, legends, street lights, pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, alleys, storm drain system, street sweeping and street trees.

Solid Waste Division
The Solid Waste Division coordinates residential and commercial garbage, recycling, and organics collection services as well as partnering with Code Enforcement on illegal disposal issues within the City.
